So far into college life I have discover a few new things about me and college in general they are as fallows 1. I really really really hate cooking in a public kitchen, you can heat something up or make something really simple like pasta but anything else is kind of imposable and takes way more planing then it should.
2. I had a really good art history education
3. I am one of thought weird people who is not constley dootling and does not values there skechbook over there life
4. In fact I have come to despise my sketch books (that's right I have three now + the one I am assumed to just have and keep on my own)
5. the suplys lists they give you - and the books on them - are not always needed, and more suggestions, except for the things you really do need
6. Art supply's is expensive - and I am sure Blick's is only alive because of us (they are less then a block away and are the only art store in the area)
7. Seattle weather is exciting. Bay weather (so far) is boring
8. I hate mini fridges
9. Tracing paper is about the most useful thing ever invented
10. And I am even more in the minority of people here who seen to like to read - you know for fun.
Its Wednesday so we have hit that mid-week push to get everything done for your last days of class before the weekend. I'm off to my last class of the day - Art history- then i am going to go back to my dorm, eat a apple, draw some sketches, hammer down my idea for my jewelry project for the second time and then get all the info i am going to need tomorrow when I make my info graphic for my 4D class on Friday. Zap some dinner and watch Hulu, until the dorms calmed down enough to the point where my ear plugs will block out the noise.
My jewelry teacher wants to see really refined designed for projects, she nixed my first design for this project saying she could not see how it would fit together and that it was too much trouble - it was rather delicate but I like it and plan to make something like it anyway just later. she then told me to make a belt buckle - i said not and started working on a nightlight that I am hoping i will be able to stick to, I will take more about it later when theres more to show.
My new 4D class is great, I could tell after i had been in the class ten minuets it was better, way more interesting.
someone has put a second plastic solder on the speaker in my History class.
