I have been doing a lot of sketching over the past week so that I have plans moving forward. All that drawing makes me itchy, so I decided to take a bit of a break and make something.

Last semester, I cast a whole bunch of these pointy shape that I used in my collar, and i had lots of extras.

So one of those became the base, and I curved some silver wire - I wanted a curve to be in this piece. I wanted the contrast the curve would provide.

It took six attempts to cut the bronze piece right. One was to lose some didn't set right one I cut wrong at the top.

Oh well by the sixth one I was much faster at making them.

This pendant has two parts that are meant to be taken apart, and resembled with outer pieces that I have yet to make.

But for now I like it just the way it is. - Katie
